J.J. Watt Runs Out to Thunderous Applause Ahead of Jaguars-Texans Game

On the same day his great-grandmother wore his No. 99 jersey to church, Texans superstar J.J. Watt received a boisterous ovation ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener versus the Jacksonville Jaguars at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Fans throughout the stadium rose to their feet in appreciation of the 28-year-old as he emerged from the tunnel with the Texas state flag.

On Sunday morning, Texans senior director of communications Amy Palcic announced Watt had raised $31 million for Hurricane Harvey relief.
