Georgia's Terry Godwin Reaches Back for 1-Handed Touchdown Catch

The New York Giants still don't know if Odell Beckham Jr. will play in their season opener this weekend. Before NBC airs Sunday Night Football, it broadcast Terry Godwin doing his best Beckham impersonation.

During Saturday's first-ever regular-season meeting between Georgia and Notre Dame, the Bulldogs wide receiver leaped up to make a one-handed touchdown grab. Although he initially bobbled the ball, the junior secured possession before landing in the end zone.

The highlight play resembles Beckham's famous grab against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014. Both men secured improbable one-handed touchdowns while draped by a defender.

The spectacular grab momentarily tied the game at 10, but Notre Dame kicked a field goal on its next drive to regain the lead.
