The Minnesota Twins are honoring veteran pitcher Bartolo Colon via a unique promotion later this month.

On Friday, the Twins announced the club will celebrate "Big Sexy Night," an evening dedicated to the husky 44-year-old starter, who earned that nickname while playing for the New York Mets, when Minnesota hosts the Toronto Blue Jays on September 15.

Fans who acquire tickets through the package offered on the team's website will be given "Big Sexy" T-shirts ahead of Colon's scheduled start at Target Field.

Don't worry: The shirts are guaranteed even if Colon doesn't take the mound next Friday for whatever reason.
