Patriots Troll Falcons with '28-3' Scoreboard Ahead of Season Opener

The New England Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium on Thursday evening to begin the NFL regular season. 

Ahead of the contest, the Patriots got in one more dig at the Atlanta Falcons regarding what occurred at Super Bowl LI. 

While individuals prepared a walkthrough of the ceremony that will occur before kickoff, the scoreboard inside Gillette displayed the famous "28-3" scoreline from the third quarter of February's Super Bowl. 

The Patriots, of course, completed a historic comeback and defeated the Falcons 34-28 in overtime to win the franchise's fifth title. 

Maybe "28-3" jokes will replace "3-1" quips.
