Florida's DeAndre Goolsby Learns About Injury Status via Twitter
Zac WassinkSep 6, 2017
On Wednesday, Florida Gators head coach Jim McElwain suggested to reporters tight end DeAndre Goolsby is out indefinitely because of an injury.
It appears Goolsby was unaware of his altered status.
Per the Gainesville Sun's Graham Hall, McElwain explained that Goolsby was out for this Saturday's home game versus the Northern Colorado Bears at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and that he doesn't know when the senior "will ever be back."
Goolsby responded to this update via Twitter later in the day:
Goolsby finished the 2016 season with 38 catches for 342 yards and three receiving touchdowns.
