Dwyane Wade Jokes That Fans Dislike Carmelo Anthony Because of Fashion Envy

Despite his scoring prowess, Carmelo Anthony is not universally loved. 

Some people hate on his ball-stopping game and even blame him for the New York Knicks' ineptitude. 

But Dwyane Wade thinks there might be a non-basketball reason for the ire. When asked on Twitter why fans dislike the Knicks forward, the Chicago Bulls guard jokingly referenced his fashion sense.

While NBA 2K18 arguably slighted him with an 84 rating, it gave a 98 grade to his alter ego "Hoodie Melo."

But as Knicks fans know, Hoodie Melo doesn't play at Madison Square Garden.
