Keon Broxton Saves Win for Brewers with Home Run Robbery
Zac WassinkJun 17, 2018
Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Keon Broxton entered Wednesday's game versus the St. Louis Cardinals at Miller Park in the top of the eighth inning.
That proved to be quite the defensive substitution.
With a man on first, two outs and the hosts holding on to a 6-5 lead, St. Louis outfielder Randal Grichuk crushed a blast to straightaway center off Milwaukee reliever Corey Knebel.
Broxton followed the ball back to the warning track, and he timed his jump perfectly to rob Grichuk of a go-ahead home run and end the game with a walk-off catch.
That's quite a way to send fans home happy.
