Titans, Colts, Vikings Squabble over All Using 'Forge' in Promotional Tweets
While waiting for the NFL season to begin, some teams engaged in a battle of words.
On Monday evening, the Indianapolis Colts tweeted a "#ColtsForged" hashtag. Using "forge" to depict charging ahead and forming a championship contender makes for an odd slogan. Fans expressed their confusion.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Tennessee Titans, meanwhile, used the word's other meaning when pointing out a similar campaign they ran last month.
They even snapped back at a parody account.
Only one problem: The Minnesota Vikings also used "Forge Ahead" last year. They exposed the Titans' forgery.
The Colts' defense: It's an old word, so plenty of people have used it before them.
Looks like it's time for the AFC South to purchase a thesaurus, where they can find original and perfectly cromulent words.
