Kevin Pillar Dives for Deep Outfield Catch vs. Red Sox

Kevin Pillar brought fans to their feet when he shut down a near-extra-base hit on Monday.

During the top of the sixth inning of the Toronto Blue Jays-Boston Red Sox game at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Boston right fielder Mookie Betts launched the ball deep into right-center field.

Pillar sprinted toward the fly and cleared 82 feet of ground in 4.6 seconds before making a leap to claim the ball at the warning track, per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com.

Toronto fans were clearly impressed, rising to their feet to applaud the catch, with some bowing to the outfielder in appreciation.

Even Betts himself seemed taken with Pillar's catch, via the Boston Herald's Jason Mastrodonato.
