MLB Celebrates 'Players Weekend' with Customized Cleats, Uniforms

Between Friday and Sunday, MLB players around the league will celebrate "Players Weekend" by rocking customized cleats and uniforms that feature selected nicknames. 

Multiple players offered previews of their gear ahead of Friday's games. 

Chicago Cubs pitcher C.J. Edwards, Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts, New York Yankees southpaw CC Sabathia, Boston starter David Price, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman, Seattle Mariners slugger Nelson Cruz and Cubs star Kris Bryant all provided glimpses of what they plan to wear throughout the final weekend of August:
