Chiefs Legend Neil Smith Helps Pregnant Woman Escape Flood Waters
Kansas City Chiefs legend Neil Smith helped a pregnant woman out of a dangerous situation Tuesday.
As historic rains flooded roads near an elementary school in Lee's Summit, Missouri, one woman attempted to drive her car through an area which was unnavigable with the rising waters, according to Fox 4's Dave D'Marko.
Smith happened to be driving nearby when he noticed the woman's car had stalled, rendering her stuck. The former defensive end exited his own vehicle and helped her out of her minivan. The two waded to safety in the waist-deep waters.

Smith told D'Marko: "I was just right in the right place at the right time... She was in there, I didn't know if she had kids, because she was about nine months pregnant and she was very short, so I had to walk her out of there."
