Not only was New York Jets quarterback Christian Hackenberg the victim of a ferocious sack on Saturday night, but internet trolls also added insult to injury.

During a preseason matchup versus the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, the 22-year-old was on the receiving end of a teeth-rattling hit delivered by defensive end Cornelius Washington. 

That moment was commemorated on Hackenberg's Wikipedia page, which was changed following the contest. 

The opening paragraph of his bio claimed he was a QB for the Jets "until his untimely execution by the lowly Detroit Lions during a preseason game." The place of his passing was also listed: 

Fortunately, it appears Hackenberg is healthy and well regardless of what the internet may want you to believe.
