Mike Rodriguez forced Dana White's hand on his Tuesday Night Contender Series by quickly ousting Jamelle Jones in just 2:15.

There have been 13 knockouts in just five weeks of the new series, but this was the first flying-knee KO of the show.
Rodriguez wasn't the only fighter to be offered a contract. Alex Perez also earned a UFC deal with his first-round anaconda choke. It moves the total number of fighters earning contracts from the show to nine.
If this is what we can expect from Mike Rodriguez, it is safe to assume fans will eagerly anticipate his official UFC debut.
