Nerlens Noel Comments on If He Misses Philadelphia: 'Nah'

The Philadelphia 76ers moved one of their core building blocks last season, when they traded Nerlens Noel to the Dallas Mavericks. Although his old team is poised for a breakthrough, the big man has no qualms with playing elsewhere.

While walking outside a club in Los Angeles, a TMZ cameraman badgered the 23-year-old with inquiries about his old employer. When asked if he misses Philadelphia, Noel laughed, shook his head and said, "Nah."

This likely has less to do with the city—he was wearing a Philadelphia Phillies cap—than his diminished role with the 76ers. In 29 games before the trade, he logged seven starts and averaged 19.4 minutes per contest.

Noel didn't receive a major boost in playing time or production in Dallas, where he registered 8.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks over 22 minutes. He is currently a restricted free agent.
