SEC Power Rankings: Week Seven
Here are the latest SEC Power Rankings from yours truly. A bit of movement, but I feel no need to explain any of it. Why? Because they’re just power rankings. And I spent too much time finding all those links.
Enjoy.
Team (Pvs): Comment
1. Florida (1): I think I’ve mentioned Tim Tebow in these rankings every single week. I’m afraid of what would happen if I didn’t.
2. Alabama (2): The Tide is now No. 2 in the country. Congrats on another fine season, Bama.
3. LSU (3): I can’t believe not one LSU fan was able to hit Tebow in the head with a whiskey bottle.
4. South Carolina (5): That three-game slide should start any time now.
5. Arkansas (8): Ryan Mallett, Heisman candidate? Hey, why not?
6. Auburn (6): Oh, yeah, the defense. Gus Malzahn can’t fix that, can he?
7. Georgia (4): Joe Cox is not the answer.
8. Ole Miss (7): Jevan Snead is apparently not the answer, either.
9. Tennessee (12): Jonathan Crompton, SEC Offensive Player of the Week?! Yeah, well, you know what they say.
10. Mississippi State (9): OK, so the Stickum™ idea didn’t work. How about this?
11. Vanderbilt (10): Well, Vandy’s got a really nice basketball gym.
12. Kentucky (11): Wildcats play Vanderbilt on Nov. 14, the likeliest game this year to end 3-2.
