Tim Tebow Hits 5th HR Since Joining High-A St. Lucie Mets
Tim Tebow's promotion to High-A St. Lucie on June 26 was met with raised eyebrows after he slashed a lackluster .220/.311/.336 with 69 strikeouts in 64 games for the South Atlantic League's Columbia Fireflies.
However, the former Heisman Trophy winner has made serious strides at the next level, and that much was evident Saturday when he smacked his fifth home run for the St. Lucie Mets since the promotion.
The Charlotte Sun's Bryan Levine relayed video of Tebow's long drive over the left-center field wall:

While Tebow hasn't been considered much more than a boom-or-bust power bat since he transitioned from football to baseball, he's proved to be much more than that since joining St. Lucie.
Entering Saturday night's 10-3 win over the Charlotte Stone Crabs, Tebow was slashing .303/.389/.495 with a whopping .884 OPS.
