
D.J. Alexander Traded to Seahawks for Kevin Pierre-Louis
The Kansas City Chiefs announced Friday that they traded linebacker D.J. Alexander to the Seattle Seahawks for linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis.
Alexander is coming off a Pro Bowl season as a special teamer, while Pierre-Louis was a reserve as part of Seattle's strong linebacker corps.
The 25-year-old Alexander was selected by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL draft out of Oregon State.

Although he has seen limited action on defense in his two NFL seasons, he finished 2016 with five tackles and was a relentless pursuer on special teams.
Pierre-Louis is a 25-year-old veteran set to enter his fourth NFL season after three campaigns with the Seahawks.
He was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft out of Boston College and has started one game in his three years with the team.
Last season, Pierre-Louis finished with seven tackles and also saw action on special teams.
Alexander is signed through the 2018 season, while Pierre-Louis is set to enter the final year of his contract before hitting free agency.
