Yu Darvish Trade Rumors: Rangers Have Informed Teams They Will Move Star
The Texas Rangers have let potential trade suitors know they plan to deal Yu Darvish, Fox's Ken Rosenthal reported Thursday.
Rosenthal also wrote the Rangers are "actively exchanging names" in possible trades.
The timing isn't ideal for Texas. Darvish allowed 10 earned runs in 3.2 innings in his most recent start—a 22-10 defeat to the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.

Report: MLB Vet Unretires After 1 Day
The poor outing added to what has been Darvish's worst year in the majors. He's 6-9 with a 4.01 ERA and a 3.99 FIP, per FanGraphs. His 9.72 strikeouts per nine innings are over a full strikeout lower than his career average (11.04) as well.
Despite that, the Rangers should be in a position to receive a healthy return for the 30-year-old right-hander. He's one of the best starting pitchers on the trade market.
MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported the Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to add either Darvish, Sonny Gray or Justin Verlander ahead of Monday's non-waiver trade deadline. Morosi also reported the Dodgers may have less of a fight for Darvish, since he's a free agent at the end of the year.
Whether he lands in Los Angeles or elsewhere, it seems clear Darvish's time in Texas is over.
