Yasiel Puig could not contain his joy after lacing a home run on Wednesday night.
The outfielder's 19th blast of the season brought the Los Angeles Dodgers closer to victory against the Minnesota Twins, and Puig celebrated by wrapping pitching coach Turner Ward in a bear hug and smooching him on the cheek.
After a rough 2016, Puig is batting .256/.329/.472 with help from Ward's tutelage. All the off-field drama has subsided, and his next long ball will set a career high.
The Dodgers improved to a resounding 71-31 with a walk-off hit from Justin Turner. Having won 36 of their last 41 games, it's easy to see why Puig is in such an affectionate mood.
