Taijuan Walker Hits First Career Home Run 455 Feet

Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Taijuan Walkerย added an accomplishment to his career resume in spectacular fashion during Tuesday's game versus the Atlanta Braves atย Chase Field.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Walker crushed a leadoff blast off of Atlanta starterย Mike Foltynewicz for his first-ever home run. ย
While that's a noteworthy achievement on its own, Statcast later noted the 24-year-old hit the second-longest homer belted by a pitcher this season:ย
