Senior British Open 2017: Dates, Tee Times, TV Info, Prize Money
A stacked field of top players will contend for the 2017 Senior Open title from Thursday through to Sunday at the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in South Wales.
The likes of Bernhard Langer, Fred Couples, Paul McGinley and Tom Lehman headline a deep group that also includes defending champion Paul Broadhurst. A total of £1,500,000 in prize money will be on the line, per the event's official website.
The Golf Channel (for U.S. viewers) and Sky Sports (for UK viewers) will provide TV coverage. For full tee times and the entry list, click here.
Broadhurst took the win by two strokes over Scott McCarron last year, and at the age of 51, he remains one of the youngest members of the Senior Tour, a significant advantage over the course of four days.

Per the BBC, South Wales could get quite windy over the weekend, with some light rain expected as well. Royal Porthcawl Golf Club is situated right on the Bristol Channel, so the power hitters who can deal with tricky conditions have the advantage.
Langer won here in 2014 by an absurd margin of 13 strokes, and after taking the Senior PGA Championship earlier this year, he's the one man most fans will have their eye on. Golf photographer Patrick Koenig couldn't help himself:
He lost out on the Senior Players Championship to McCarron in dramatic fashion on July 16, however, after a disappointing round of one-over and a badly missed putt.
PGA Tour Champions shared video of the conclusion of the tournament:
It was McCarron's first major championship as a member of the Senior Tour and should give the 52-year-old a big boost for the Open.
Lehman is winless on the Senior Tour since 2011, but he took a PGA Tour Champions title this year at the Tucson Conquistadores Classic. He's been in solid form of late, taking fourth place at the U.S. Senior Open and displaying his tremendous ability from the tee―something that should serve him well in Wales.
