Chelsea Transfer News: Antonio Candreva's Agent Responds to Rumours
The agent of Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva has said a move to Chelsea could happen for the Italy international, although the player himself highlighted he's yet to hear from the Blues.
As reported by FCInter1908 (h/t Daily Express' James Cambridge), Candreva has emerged as a target for the Premier League champions, as they continue their search for wide help. Federico Pastorello, his representative, refused to close the book on a move when pressed.
"Antonio is very calm at the moment and is only thinking about Inter. He's happy with the arrival of [Luciano] Spalletti as the new coach," he said. "I would say it's 80 percent that he stays at Inter but Chelsea? You cannot exclude anything at the moment."

Candreva pledged his allegiance to the Nerrazzuri without ruling a transfer out completely:
"I'm proud to wear this shirt. I've bought into an important project here and I'm happy to be here. This shirt has an important history which I honour every time I wear it. The links with Chelsea are nice, but there's been absolutely nothing to date. The club will take care of any bids that may come in."
The 30-year-old has emerged as something of a shock target following Manchester City's move for reported Blues target Danilo. With the market for versatile wide men who can play as both a winger or full-back drying up, the former Lazio man seems to be next in line.
Candreva was a terror for Inter down the right wing last season. He bagged six goals in Serie A and added 10 assists. He's not a world-class option by any means, but he has bags of experience in multiple formations and could be a superb depth option for Chelsea.
He seems certain to stay in Italy, however, with Inter unlikely to sell their speedy winger just one season after bringing him in from Lazio.
