Alex Oliveira Uncorks a Perfectly Timed Walk-Off Uppercut KO at UFC on Fox 25
In 14 professional outings, no one had ever stopped No. 14-ranked welterweight contender Ryan LaFlare (13-2). That is until he fought in front of his home crowd against Alex Oliveira (17-4-1, 2 NC) at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
In the second round, LaFlare came forward and Oliveira timed the entry perfectly. "Cowboy" laced a right uppercut right on the button to send LaFlare face-first into the canvas.

There was no need for any additional shots. Oliveira simply walked away with his unconscious victim kissing the floor.
He then leapt out of the cage, which may end up causing him to spend a little of his win bonus on his upcoming fine from the New York State Athletic Commission.
The win extended Oliveira's unbeaten streak to five, four wins and one no-contest, and put him right back into the thick of things at 170 pounds. LaFlare will have to go back to the end of the line and start a rebuilding process.
Oliveira was showered with boos from the local crowd, but everywhere else was stunned with a beautiful uppercut KO that will be a part of his highlight reel for the foreseeable future.
