Tottenham vs. Roma: 2017 ICC Time, TV Schedule and Live Stream

Tottenham Hotspur meet AS Roma in the 2017 International Champions Cup at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on Tuesday.

The game will take place in the early hours of the morning in Europe, with both teams preparing for life back in their domestic leagues.

Both managers will want to test out their new signings as they entertain American crowds on their pre-season tours.

This will be a big season for Spurs, as the north London side attempt to transform from pretenders into trophy winners.

The Lilywhites have progressively improved in the Premier League, finishing second last term, but they have not been able to put together the run of form needed to win the title.

Roma are in a similar scenario in Italy, chasing the tail of Juventus as they attempt to win Serie A after being runners-up. The capital-city giants finished just four points behind the champions last term, with the Giallorossi  scoring more goals in the league than the Old Lady.

Spurs and Roma have recently conducted transfer business with each other after Federico Fazio left England for the Serie A side. The Argentina international spent last term on loan in Rome and completed a permanent transfer this summer.

Obtaining minutes for players will be the primary objective on the U.S. tour, but Spurs will want to display their UEFA Champions League credentials against a strong side.

Roma took holders Paris Saint-Germain to penalties after a 1-1 draw in their last ICC outing, as the Italians were denied two strong penalty appeals in the match.

Head coach Eusebio Di Francesco will be disappointed with his attack against PSG, and their lack of bite in the final third could cost them dearly against the English team.

Spurs have the advantage on paper, but their fitness could deny them victory against a busy opponent.
