Gilas Pilipinas vs. Iran: Time, Live Stream for 2017 William Jones Cup

Gilas Pilipinas hopes to conclude its run in the William Jones Cup tournament with a strong showing against Iran when the two teams meet Sunday at Taipei Peace International Basketball Hall in Taipei, Taiwan.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m. local time, which corresponds to 5 a.m. ET. The game can be live-streamed at Sports5, which has streamed all games in the international tournament.

Gilas Pilipinas (5-3) is coming off a dominating 101-70 victory over India. The Filipinos had all aspects of their game working against their winless opponent, including their three-point shooting. That aspect of their game had been a problem area prior to Saturday.

The team from the Philippines had a brilliant shooting day, making 18 of 36 two-point shots, 17 of 36 from beyond the arc and 14 of 20 free throws.

Matthew Wright led the team with 19 points, while Von Rolfe Pessumal and Almond Vosotros had 14 points each. Stars Mike Myers and Kiefer Ravena both saw limited action because the Filipinos had control of the game from the start, and it gave head coach Chot Reyes a chance to give all of his players an opportunity to show off their talents.

Christian Standhardinger also reached double figures for Gilas Pilipinas with 10 points.

Amjyot Singh Gill was India's best player as he scored 25 points in the defeat.

Iran (4-4) is coming off a 70-66 victory over the Chinese-Blue team. Navid Rezaeifar led Iran in scoring with 22 points, and he is averaging 19.1 points per game during the international tournament.
