Inter vs. Lyon: 2017 ICC Time, TV Schedule and Live Stream

Inter Milan will face Lyon at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre in Nanjing, China, on Monday as part of the 2017 International Champions Cup pre-season tournament. Both sides have undergone key changes this summer, with Lyon in particular with a different look after offloading two key stars in the transfer market.

Changes for the Nerazzurri mean Luciano Spalletti taking over as manager. The former AS Roma boss saw his new side draw last time out and will be anxious to continue experimenting with different combinations in China.

Inter drew in their last friendly, earning a 1-1 stalemate against Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04. The draw was secured thanks to a wonder strike from Colombian centre-back Jeison Murillo, per Football-Italia.net.

Murillo starred in a match that also saw Ivan Perisic start. The Croatian wide forward is a transfer target for Manchester United, according to Toby Gannon of The Sun: "Manchester United are close to agreeing a fee of about £40million for the Croatian winger."

As Gannon noted, former Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg ace Perisic has still gone to China with Inter, despite the uncertainty regarding his future.

Another player on the plane was striker Mauro Icardi. Yet the Argentinian noted how he has been dealing with a thigh problem but could still play in China, per Daniele Vitiello of FCInter1908.it (h/t Ben Gladwell of ESPN.co.uk): "They don't want to take any risks that I might tear it again, so I'm working individually, running a lot, doing a lot of strength training. Then we'll see whether I get to play out here in China or whether I have to wait until August."

Being without a star striker is not an unfamiliar scenario for Lyon, since the Ligue 1 side sold the prolific Alexandre Lacazette to Arsenal earlier this summer. Lacazette joined goal-scoring midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who moved to Bayern Munich, as high-profile departures from Lyon.

It means matches like this are a chance for new faces Bertrand Traore and Mariano Diaz to prove they are ready to assume the mantle vacated by Lacazette. Both attackers were included in the squad for the tournament, along with the mercurial Nabil Fekir and ex-United winger Memphis Depay, per the club's official website.

Even without Lacazette, Lyon still have goals in the side. They are sure to test the defensive nous and resolve of Spalletti and his new players.
