Ekpe Udoh, Jazz Reportedly Agree on 2-Year, $6.5 Million Contract

Shams Charania of The Vertical reported Thursday the Utah Jazz came to terms on a two-year, $6.5 million contract with center Ekpe Udoh.

The 30-year-oldย Udohย spent the past two seasons playing forย Fenerbahceย of the Turkish Basketball Super League.

In 2016-17, he averaged 12.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, asย Fenerbahceย went on to win theย EuroLeagueย championship.

Udohย was theย EuroLeagueย Final Four MVP, and he was also a 2017 Turkish Super League All-Star selection.

The Golden State Warriors selected the former Baylor standout No. 6 overall in 2010, but he disappointed. He hadย runs with the Dubs, Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA, averaging 4.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 270 regular-season games.

With Utah,ย Udohย will provide frontcourt depth behind Rudyย Gobert, Derrick Favors and Boris Diaw.
