Danica Patrick on Marrying Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: 'I Was Ready Yesterday'

The long-term relationship between NASCAR drivers Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has not led to an engagement yet, though Patrick sounds ready for marriage. 

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Patrick said she was "ready yesterday" when asked if the two were ready to get married:

Patrick and Stenhouse faked an engagement announcement on April Fools Day when she posted a picture on Instagram of the two sharing a kiss as she displayed an engagement ring on her finger:

he following day, Patrick said on Twitter she was "thinking about how good I got you all on April fools."

Patrick has been asked about the subject of marriage with Stenhouse before. She previously told Darrell Waltrip in an April 2015 interview prior to a NASCAR race in Texas she would say "yes" if he proposed. 

Patrick and Stenhouse have been dating since 2012.
