A police report of the arrest filed in Sharonville, Ohio said Washington "reached for and displayed a gun while sitting inside his vehicle; just feet away from officers. The suspect did not inform officers beforehand," per Bob Strickley of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. local time Sunday night while police were clearing out a parking lot at Splash Park.
Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News provided a statement from the Bills on Monday night.
"We are aware of the incident regarding Adophus Washington and have been in contact with him," it read. “Since it is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment."
In January 2016, Washington pleaded guilty on a misdemeanor charge of soliciting for prostitution following an arrest one month earlier. The Ohio State product was also suspended by the Buckeyes.
The 22-year-old Cincinnati native has been expected to compete for a depth role at defensive tackle behind Marcell Dareus and Kyle Williams during Bills training camp.
