2015 WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne will lead the Eastern Conference stars:
Delle Donne and Taurasi are two of five former WNBA MVPs among the 10 All-Star starters. Maya Moore, Candace Parker and Tina Charles have also previously been recognized as the MVP.
The Eastern Conference has three first-time starters in Tiffany Hayes, Jonquel Jones and Jasmine Thomas.
Moore led the All-Star fan voting with 32,866 ballots, just over 1,400 votes ahead of Delle Donne, per WNBA.com.
Bird is making history in two ways with this year's appearance. She leads the WNBA in assists with 6.7 per game, despite being the league's oldest player (36), and has tied Tamika Catchings for most All-Star appearances in league history with 10.
The reserves for the WNBA's midseason showcase will be announced July 18.
