Miami Heat Beat Washington Wizards, 91-87

Bam Adebayo's strong summer continued, as the rookie led the Heat to a 91-87 win over the Wizards in Las Vegas on Monday.

Adebayo finished with 16 points, three rebounds and two steals, while Matt Williams paced the team with 17 points. Trey McKinney Jones (15 points) and Okaro White (14 points) also finished in double-digit scoring for the Heat.

Adebayo spoke with NBA TV after the victory:

He also provided a pinpoint lob to White during the game:

Sheldon McClellan's 18 points and four rebounds led the way for the Wizards, meanwhile, with Jared Cunningham adding 16 points.

The Heat next face the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, while the Wizards take on the Bulls on Tuesday as well.

Atlanta Hawks Beat Chicago Bulls, 75-55

The Hawks blew out the Bulls on Monday, 75-55, led by 17 points and four assists from second-year player DeAndre Bembry

Bembry also had the slickest pass of the game, per the Hawks:

Bulls rookie Markkanen had a disappointing outing, meanwhile, finishing with eight points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes. He also shot just 1-of-13 from the field and missed all 10 of his three-point attempts.

He did have this vicious dunk, however, per the Bulls:

Second-year guard Denzel Valentine struggled as well, finishing with four points on 1-of-12 shooting. Point guard Cameron Payne led the way for the Bulls, finishing with 12 points, while Antonio Blakeney posted 11 points in the contest.

Kris Dunn and Paul Zipser didn't play in the contest.

Hawks rookie John Collins had a strong showing, meanwhile, posting 15 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and this nice dunk:

Ryan Kelly added 13 points and six boards.

Up next for the Bulls will be a matchup with the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, while the Hawks have finished their slate of scheduled games in Las Vegas.

Brooklyn Nets Beat New Orleans Pelicans, 95-61

LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 09: Archie Goodwin #10 of the Brooklyn Nets goes in for a layup as Sterling Brown (L) #23 and Travis Trice #1 of the Milwaukee Bucks look on during the 2017 Summer League game at the Cox Pavilion on July 9, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Nets might not have won many games during the regular season, but they were dominant in Monday's game against the Pelicans.

Archie Goodwin was the star of the day with 18 points and eight assists to just one turnover. He and Caris LeVert played well in the first half to help build an early lead:

LeVert finished with 17 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Goodwin made plays on both ends of the court, as the team's Twitter account showed:

This helped him finish plus-30 on the floor in the game, easily the best on the team.

Only two players on New Orleans' roster finished in double figures, with Quinn Cook doing most of the damage with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Isaiah Cousins (12 points on 5-of-13) was the only other player with double-digit points.

Although Nets first-round pick Jarrett Allen once again failed to see the floor, it was an otherwise successful day for Brooklyn.

This was also the last scheduled game for both teams in Las Vegas before the knockout round.

Houston Rockets Beat Phoenix Suns, 99-94

LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 10: Troy Williams #14 of the Houston Rockets goes to the basket against the Phoenix Suns on July 10, 2017 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges and agrees that, by downloading and

Troy Williams showed why he deserves a chance at the rotation next season with an outstanding performance against the Suns.

The forward finished with 27 points and six rebounds, also coming through with what became the game-clinching basket:

He showcased his athleticism in the first half as well:

Adding in the defensive work of Chinanu Onuaku, who had 10 rebounds and two blocks, it was a quality win for Houston.

Although Phoenix didn't get the victory, it should be happy about the performances from key players.

Josh Jackson wasn't as efficient as some would like, finishing 7-of-17 from the floor, but he showed his versatility with 20 points and six rebounds while going 2-of-4 from three-point range.

This big dunk is also a main reason the Suns drafted him at No. 4 overall:

Phoenix should also be happy with the play of last year's first-round picks. Marquese Chriss had 26 points and seven rebounds, while Dragan Bender added 12 points. The duo combined for 16 fouls, but that isn't as important in summer league.

Toronto Raptors Beat Denver Nuggets, 82-81

LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 10: Pascal Siakam #43 of the Toronto Raptors handles the ball against the Denver Nuggets during the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League on July 10, 2017 at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges and

The Raptors didn't score in the final 90 seconds of the game but held on for a one-point victory over the Nuggets.

The big men led the way for Toronto, with the starting frontcourt of Jakob Poeltl, Pascal Siakam and Alfonzo McKinnie all putting together solid performances Monday night.

Poeltl had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and the 7-footer showcased his versatility with shots that made him look like a guard:

Meanwhile, Siakam filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals.

Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic discussed the forward's effort:

Fred VanVleet also showed why he deserves a role in next year's rotation after finishing with 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting.

While the Nuggets were able to rely upon Malik Beasley with his 19 points, it was an otherwise quiet day from Denver's young players.

Cleveland Cavaliers Beat Golden State Warriors, 91-74

The rematch of the NBA Finals doesn't quite have the same effect in the Summer League, but the Cavaliers were able to get some measure of revenge with a win Monday night.

Brandon Paul was lights-out from the field for Cleveland, scoring 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range.

He was even making shots from deep while being fouled:

Kay Felder had 12 points in the first half but didn't do much after halftime while finishing 4-of-14 from the field.

The Cavs also got to see some athleticism from Sir'Dominic Pointer with this big slam in the first quarter:

Conversely, this was a lost night for the Warriors with even regular contributors on the regular NBA roster struggling to do much. Patrick McCaw finished 3-of-15 shooting and minus-23 on the court, while Kevon Looney could only muster six points.

The Warriors clearly have enough talent to continue winning, but depth and youth could be a problem.

Golden State will close its preliminary run in Las Vegas with a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday.

Los Angeles Clippers Beat Milwaukee Bucks, 100-93

LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 10: Montrezl Harrell #20 of the LA Clippers shoots a free throw against the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League on July 10, 2017 at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges a

The Milwaukee Bucks got to within three points of the Los Angeles Clippers inside the final two minutes of regulation. Travis Trice II knocked down two free throws to make it a 93-90 game with 1:39 remaining.

The Bucks couldn't get a defensive stop on the Clippers' next possession, though, and Los Angeles sealed a 100-93 victory at the free-throw line.

Milwaukee had no answer inside for Montrezl Harrell, who scored 21 points on 10-of-13 shooting. He also grabbed three rebounds and blocked three shots. The NBA shared highlights from his performance:

A day after going for 18 points in the Clippers' 86-67 victory, Jamil Wilson poured in 18 more off the bench for Los Angeles. Jawun Evans narrowly missed out on a double-double by scoring 11 points and dishing out eight assists.

Rashad Vaughn led the Bucks with 21 points, while D.J. Wilson chipped in 17 points and eight rebounds.

Los Angeles Lakers Beat Sacramento Kings, 95-92

A battle between Vander Blue and Buddy Hield broke out in the final moments of the Los Angeles Lakers' 95-92 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

With 1:51 remaining in the fourth quarter, Blue put Los Angeles up 88-83. Hield responded with a three-pointer to cut the deficit to two points, and with 1:09 left, he hit another three to bring the Kings to within a point, 89-88.

Blue and Hield exchanged three-pointers over the next two possessions. NBA TV shared a replay of their back-and-forth:

After Thomas Bryant made it a three-point game, Hield had one last chance to force overtime. His three-point attempt was off the mark and the Lakers held on for the win.

Hield finished with 22 points on 6-of-15 shooting, with all of his made field goals coming from beyond the arc. The Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones thought the final quarter in particular will be big for Hield's confidence:

Blue came off the bench to lead the Lakers with 21 points.

Alex Caruso also had a big night for Los Angeles with 18 points and nine assists.
