Lonzo Ball Records Triple-Double in Lakers Summer League Game vs. Celtics
After struggling in his Las Vegas Summer League debut Friday, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball bounced back in a big way Saturday by recording a triple-double.
As seen in this video courtesy of the Lakers' official Twitter account, Ball attacked the basket in the closing seconds to throw down a dunk and secure the triple-double:

While L.A. fell 86-81 to the Boston Celtics, Ball finished with 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting to go with 11 assists and 11 rebounds.
Saturday's showing was a major improvement over what Ball displayed in Friday's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
In his debut, Ball made just two of 15 shots from the field for five points, although he did show off impressive passing skills with five assists.
Ball's sweet passing carried over to Saturday's contest, as evidenced by this dish to Kyle Kuzma:
While Ball had a penchant for filling up the stat sheet during his single season at UCLA, he did not have any triple-doubles, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
The Lakers and team president Magic Johnson selected Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Johnson is among the best of all time when it comes to registering triple-doubles, as he is second on the career NBA regular-season list with 138, trailing only Oscar Robertson's 181.
The summer league and the NBA regular season are different animals, but Ball checked all the boxes against the Celtics.
