Rajon Rondo, Darren Collison Reportedly on Knicks' Free-Agency Radar
As the New York Knicks continue to explore options to obtain a veteran point guard, Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison are reportedly on their radar.
ESPN.com's Ian Begley reported Saturday the Knicks have reached out to Rondo and Collison.
The Knicks are scouring the free-agent market for seemingly every available point guard.
Begley previously reported George Hill is New York's primary target and that the front office's main objective this offseason is to find a veteran who can help rookie Frank Ntilikina develop.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski (via Begley) noted the Knicks were also interested in bringing back Derrick Rose.
Rondo was waived by the Chicago Bulls on Friday. The four-time All-Star averaged 7.8 points, 6.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per night in 69 games last season.
Collison is a terrific scorer who set a career best by shooting 41.7 percent from three-point range for the Sacramento Kings in 68 games last season.
