Amir Johnson Rumors: 76ers Reportedly Make 'Strong Push' for Free Agent PF
As the Philadelphia 76ers look to make their move in the Eastern Conference, free-agent power forward Amir Johnson is reportedly high on their wish list.
Per Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the 76ers intend to make a "strong push" for Johnson, with an NBA source telling Pompey the veteran forward "could very well be in a Sixers uniform next season."
Pompey noted one reason the 76ers are interested in Johnson is because the team is seeking veteran leadership after it waived Gerald Henderson on Friday.
