
Former Packers RB Ahman Green Arrested on Suspicion of Child Abuse
Former NFL running back Ahman Green was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and placed in jail Monday morning, according to Paul Srubas of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Per that report, "The Brown County Sheriff's Office acknowledged Green was arrested at his home about 11:30 p.m. Sunday over a family matter, but it would not provide other details."
According to TMZ Sports, Green is charged with "intentionally causing harm/cruelty toward a child" and is facing a maximum six-year prison sentence if convicted of the crime.

Per that report, "Green is being held without bond until he goes in front of a judge." He is expected in court Monday afternoon, according to the Associated Press (via the Washington Post).
Green, 40, spent 12 seasons in the NFL, playing for the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans.
