Derek Carr Trolls Seahawks, Says Team Will Feed Marshawn Lynch on 1-Yard Line
After becoming the highest-paid player in NFL history on Thursday, Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr trolled the Seattle Seahawks.
"There's no pressure," Carr told media members Friday. "There's no—we'll be on the 1-yard line and I won't give it to Marshawn, I'll throw it. None of that stuff. I don't care about the stats. That's not my No. 1 objective. I don't care if I throw 10 touchdowns next year. If we win every game, that's all I care about."
The 26-year-old quarterback didn't call out the Seahawks or head coach Pete Carroll by name. But he didn't have to.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Carr seemed to be alluding to Carroll's infamous call in Super Bowl XLIX, when Seattle trailed the New England Patriots 28-24 on the 1-yard line with 26 seconds left.
Instead of pounding it with Beast Mode, the Seahawks ran a passing play. Malcolm Butler famously picked off Russell Wilson, and the Patriots won.

The Raiders and Seahawks won't square off this upcoming season unless it's in the Super Bowl.
