Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons Welcome Markelle Fultz, Kevin Durant Calls PG 'Legend'

The Philadelphia 76ers were very welcoming of Markelle Futz after he became the first pick of the NBA draft.

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid were some of the first to celebrate the newest addition:

Kevin Durant enjoyed the “legend” coming from the same area of Prince George’s County in Maryland:

Plenty around Philadelphia were also there to congratulate the player on his accomplishment:

Fultz put up outstanding numbers with Washington last season, averaging 23.2 points, 5.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game as a freshman. He now provides the 76ers with a much-needed point guard who can score and facilitate, adding to some already talented players hoping to shine at the NBA level.

Fans who have been Trusting the Process will certainly be excited about the team’s new core.
