Joel Embiid Appears to Tell Ben Simmons to Dunk Hard on Lonzo Ball

It appears a pair of Philadelphia 76ers big men are ready to welcome new Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball to the NBA. 

Not long after Ball was selected by the Lakers, his father, LaVar, told ESPN he believed his son would help Los Angeles make it to the playoffs next season. 

Philadelphia forward Ben Simmons seemed to respond to this claim via a tweet and only a couple of words:

Joel Embiid, Simmons' teammate and one who is rarely shy about voicing opinions on social media, responded to the tweet. 

"Please dunk on him so hard that his daddy runs on the court to save him," the 23-year-old tweeted to Simmons. 

It seems likely LaVar will have something to say about "the Process" soon enough.
