AEGON Championships 2017: Marin Cilic, Sam Querrey Cruise to Next Round

Marin Cilic cruised past qualifier Stefan Kozlov in the second round at the 2017 AEGON Championships at Queen's Club on Thursday.

The No. 4 seed grabbed a simple win as he prevailed 6-0, 6-4, and he'll meet Donald Young in the quarter-finals in London.

Sam Querrey and Daniil Medvedev join Cilic in the next stage after beating Jordan Thompson and Thanasi Kokkinakis, respectively.

Jeremy Chardy was knocked out by Feliciano Lopez in the final match on centre court.

It was a simple day for Cilic as he continued to proceed at Queen's Club, claiming a sixth appearance in the quarter-finals.

The dominant Croatian is the favourite for many, and he was clinical as he powered past his opponent in straight sets.

According to ATPWorldTour.com, the player was in a calm mood.

"I don't feel any extra pressure or any more confidence," said Cilic. "I'm just focused on my own things, my part of the court, trying to do that well. I've been playing well really since the clay season started... But, I still have to work to improve some areas of my game and maybe get better day after day."

Querrey's serve was decisive as he defeated Thompson in three sets. The American landed 15 aces as he won 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-3.

Medvedev had an easy day at the office as he charged into the last eight. The Russian was dominant on his first serve, losing just one point.

There was success for Spain as Lopez extinguished the threat of Chardy in the final match, claiming victory in straight sets, 6-1, 7-6 (4).
