PSG Transfer News: Giovanni Simeone Eyed, Latest on Gianluigi Donnarumma Rumours
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a move for Giovanni Simeone, son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego, as a back-up option to Edinson Cavani.
Per Le10sport (via Sky Sports), Unai Emery's side are out to strengthen their attack this summer and could try to sign the 21-year-old.
Per WhoScored.com, Simeone scored 12 goals for Genoa last season, his first full campaign in Serie A after signing from River Plate back in August.

Simeone was the highest scoring player aged under 21 in Serie A last season, per WhoScored.com, with his displays also earning him the club's player of the season award:
Per Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina and Watford have also expressed an interest in Simeone, although the opportunity to play in the Champions League with PSG may prove more tempting.
PSG were reliant on Cavani for goals last season, with the Uruguayan finishing as Ligue 1 top scorer on 35 goals. However, his contributions were not enough to secure the title, as Monaco won the league by eight points.
Per France Football (via Sky Sports), Unai Emery's side are also looking to strengthen defensively, and have reportedly made Gianluigi Donnarumma their top target.
PSG have failed in attempts to land Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak, and they have now turned their attentions to Donnarumma.
Per BBC Sport, AC Milan confirmed the teenager, whose contract expires next summer, has turned down a new deal and is now expected to leave the club this summer.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed his club's interest in Donnarumma, per Onda Cera (via the Mirror).
However, Juventus general manager Guiseppe Marrotta has also told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera (via David F. Sanchidrian of AS) the Italian champions are also interested.
PSG will therefore face stiff competition for Donnarumma, with the highly talented young goalkeeper looking to have his pick of top clubs this summer.
