Tim Tebow Launches Bat into Stands After Wild Swing

In a move reminiscent of his quarterbacking days, Tim Tebow inadvertently catapulted his bat into the crowd Saturday evening in Charleston, South Carolina. 

As the Single-A Columbia Fireflies faced off against the Charleston Riverdogs, the outfielder gave a wild swing and accidentally let go of the bat. It sailed to the first base side, landing several rows into the stands. No word yet if there were any injuries.

The Mets minor leaguer waved weakly at the next pitch to go down on strikes, and the Fireflies went on to lose, 3-0.
