PSG Transfer News: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Kylian Mbappe, Alexis Sanchez Rumours

Christopher SimpsonJun 16, 2017

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique is reportedly "seriously interested" in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and recently met with the Rossoneri hierarchy to discuss a move.

Per ESPN FC's Jonathan Johnson, Henrique has "already started his pursuit" of the 18-year-old and is similarly keen on signing AS Monaco's Kylian Mbappe.

The Ligue 1 giants are also said to have abandoned their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in favour of manager Unai Emery's "preferred target," Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal.

Donnarumma looks to be on his way out of the San Siro this summer, per Sky Sports News HQ's Kaveh Solhekol:

Milan find themselves in a difficult situation. With just one year remaining on his deal, they're unlikely to get an offer representative of what the 'keeper is worth. But if they opt to keep him, he'll leave for nothing next summer.

Eurosport's Siavoush Fallahi could scarcely believe Donnarumma had turned down the Rossoneri's offer of a new deal:

Milan's loss could be PSG's gain. The French club has two good options in Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola, but when it comes to goalkeepers, Donnarumma is the biggest rising star in European football.

The Italian has been Milan's No. 1 since he was just 16, and he's already established himself as Gianluigi Buffon's successor with the Azzurri.

GianlucaDiMarzio.com's David Amoyal believes the Parc des Princes to be a realistic destination for Donnarumma too:

PSG are also said to be among a host of clubs looking at another top young talent in Mbappe. The forward's sensational year saw him contribute 26 goals and 14 assists in all competitions to help Monaco wrest Ligue 1 from Les Parisiens' grasp.

However, as Johnson noted, Mbappe will be a hard player to sign this summer.

Sanchez could represent a much more realistic target. According to The Independent's Miguel Delaney, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also interested in the Chilean, but the Gunners are adamant they will not let him join a Premier League rival.

If that is the case, PSG might have a financial advantage over Bayern, both in terms of the wages they can offer the player and the transfer fee.

Each club can offer the Chilean a greater chance of winning league titles than Arsenal, as well as a better prospect of competing in the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he were to join either this summer.
