Shortly after taking part in the Golden State Warriors' championship parade Thursday afternoon, 2017 NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant took to Twitter to interact with some users.

As one would expect, some critics and non-fans saw this as an opportunity to lash out at the 28-year-old, and Durant didn't shy away from responding.

One user joked Durant would've joined the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer had the Cavs defeated the Warriors in the Finals:

Kevin Durant @KDTrey5

@HashtagArtsie we didn't lose though 😂😂😂😂

Earlier this week, Durant stated on the The Bill Simmons Podcast he believes Cleveland guard Kyrie Irving is better than all-time great Allen Iverson. Durant defended that take Thursday:

Kevin Durant @KDTrey5

I was talkin about specific skill when I shot off the kyrie and AI thing.I think Kyries handle is a little better. Thats a legit take right?

Kevin Durant @KDTrey5

@Audeezy_ wtf that gotta do with his handle?

Last but not least, Durant responded to those who suggested he should be enjoying his first NBA title rather than responding to tweets:

Kevin Durant @KDTrey5

@AkshayOberai I just love talking basketball.

Kevin Durant @KDTrey5

@A_Lee_Wall97 I am talking basketball, u should pay attention and maybe I would learn more about the game
