Draymond Green Wears Shirt with Quicken Loans Arena's 'Q' to Warriors Parade
Draymond Green appeared to poke fun at the Cleveland Cavaliers with his attire at Thursday's championship parade.
The Golden State Warriors star wore a "Quickie" shirt with the Quicken Loans Arena's "Q" design. Perhaps he's making light of Golden State eliminating Cleveland in five games. Or maybe it's just pettiness for pettiness' sake.
He's not the first one to send a coded message through clothing. LeBron James donned an Ultimate Warrior shirt after vanquishing Golden State in last year's NBA Finals. JR Smith sent his own memo with an invisible shirt.
Per NBA on TNT, Green cited Cleveland's past sights as motivation to retaliate:
As long as the Warriors and Cavs keep competing for the Larry O'Brien Trophy—their trilogy could easily receive a fourth or fifth installment—the fashion war is likely to continue.
