Kam Chancellor Says Seahawks Haven't Approached Him About Contract Extension
Although Kam Chancellor is heading into the final year of his contract, the Seattle Seahawks have not yet approached the safety about an extension, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
Despite the lack of communication, the four-time Pro Bowler said he is not worrying about the situation.
"I trust their word," Chancellor said Tuesday, per Sheil Kapadia of ESPN.com. "I trust what they say. I'll just let it happen when it's supposed to happen."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll remains confident something will get done soon.
"We would very much like to work something out," he said, per Kapadia. "We're working at it. And that's really all we'll say. But we are working at it with every intention of taking care of business."
Chancellor was a fifth-round pick in 2010, but like so many other members of the Seahawks, he has blossomed into one of the best in the league at his position. The only question is whether he can stay healthy after missing nine games over the past two seasons.
