England begin their UEFA European U21 Championship campaign by facing Sweden in Poland on Friday. The young Three Lions will look to several Premier League stars to inspire them at the Kielce Stadium, including Arsenal defender Rob Holding.

As for Sweden, playmaker Kristoffer Olsson and mooted Gunners target Joel Osoro will be among the key figures for this vital Group A opener.

Both defenders will likely work in front of gifted goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The ultra-athletic Sunderland stopper has been linked with a move to Everton worth £30 million, per BBC Sport.

Further forward, England will rely on the pace of Southampton attacker Nathan Redmond. He will count on supply from club mate James Ward-Prowse, whose delivery from wide areas can be deadly.

Meanwhile, Sweden striker Joel Asoro has said he is shocked by rumours of interest from Arsenal, per James Benge of the London Evening Standard: "People were a little shocked because I have played very little first-team football."

The 18-year-old certainly has the pace and power to cause Holding and Co. more than a few problems at the back. He may depend on supply from one-time Arsenal academy player Olsson, who has the technique and vision to exploit gaps between the lines.

At 21, the AIK attacking midfielder is one of the senior figures in this squad. If Olsson threads the right passes, Sweden boast the pace in behind to stretch England's defence.
