Josh Jackson Reportedly Cancels Pre-Draft Visit with Boston Celtics
With two weeks before the 2017 NBA draft, presumptive lottery pick Josh Jackson cancelled a workout with the Boston Celtics on Monday.
ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman and Marc J. Spears reported Jackson's decision to cancel his workout with the Celtics, who own the No. 1 overall pick.
The Celtics have already held their workout with Washington point guard Markelle Fultz, who seemed to take a liking to the surroundings, per Goodman:
Jackson, who was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year in 2017 as a member of the Kansas Jayhawks, still figures to be one of the first players taken, even if he doesn't go No. 1 overall.
B/R NBA draft analyst Jonathan Wasserman had Jackson going to the Los Angeles Lakers with the second overall pick in his most recent mock draft.
The 20-year-old averaged 16.3 points and 7.4 rebounds in his only season at Kansas.
