Draymond Green's 1st-Half Technical Changed to Steve Kerr in Game 4
A technical foul that was originally assessed to Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green in the first quarter of Game 4 of the NBA Finals was retroactively given to head coach Steve Kerr.
The incident occurred with one minute, 54 seconds remaining in the opening frame of Game 4 with the Warriors trailing 37-27.
The technical was reported as being on Green, and those working at the scorer's table at Quicken Loans Arena told ABC's Doris Burke officials told them as much at the time, according to USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt.
Green was later whistled for what would be listed as his first technical foul—although it was widely believed to be his second at the time—in the third quarter following an argument with officials over a foul call:
Green has now been slapped with technical fouls in back-to-back games and has four total for the postseason. If he accumulates three more, he will receive an automatic one-game ban.
