2017 US Open Tee Times, Pairings Revealed

The tee times for the opening two rounds of the 117th U.S. Open Championship to be played at Erin Hills in Erin, Wisconsin, were released Thursday.

The full tee times for Round 1 on Thursday, June 15, and Round 2 on Friday, June 16, can be found on the U.S. Open's official website. Bob Harig of ESPN.com noted the three previous U.S. Open winners—Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Martin Kaymer—are all in the same grouping (9:35 a.m. ET).

While galleries will surely be drawn to such a formidable grouping, there are plenty of notable pairings throughout the tee times that run from 7:45 a.m. ET through 3:42 p.m. ET.

Masters champion Sergio Garcia will tee off with Bubba Watson and Adam Scott at 2:36 p.m. ET in the first two rounds, while stars Jason Day and Rory McIlroy will start at 3:09 p.m. ET.

One player to watch is Phil Mickelson, who is scheduled to tee off at 3:20 p.m. ET with Steve Stricker and Stewart Cink. However, Harig noted the left-handed golfer plans on skipping the event to attend his daughter's high school graduation even though he hasn't officially withdrawn yet.

According to Harig, the United States Golf Association left five spots open "in case anyone qualifies this weekend by being among the top 60 in the world otherwise not exempt. Any other openings would be filled by alternatives from various qualifying sites."
