UFC Vet Adlan Amagov Allegedly Stabs MMA Fighter During Deadly Shootout

Former UFC and Strikeforce veteran Adlan Amagov was reportedly involved in a deadly shootout in Moscow on Thursday.

According to LIFE.ru (h/t BloodyElbow's Karim Zidan), the scuffle began as a disagreement between two Chechen groups. Per Zidan, after a disagreement on how to redistribute a shared business, the two factions reportedly began to fight.

Amagov, who retired from the UFC in 2013 after back-to-back victories in the promotion, allegedly stabbed 19-year-old MMA fighter Timur Baysurov in the chest. Baysurov reportedly survived the attack and was taken to the intensive care unit.

Per the report, two were killed and six were injured during the melee.

The incident is still under investigation.
